Company Description Primebook, a product of Floydwiz Technologies Pvt. Ltd., is India's first Android-based laptop designed to empower students, self-learners, creators, coders, and professionals. Founded in 2018 by IIT Delhi alumni, Primebook is on a mission to make computing accessible to India's youth. At the core of Primebook is PrimeOS — a custom Android-based operating system that combines the simplicity of Android with the power of a PC, offering full-screen apps, multitasking, a desktop-grade browser, and access to the Prime App Store. Job Title: Backend Developer (0-1 Year Exp) Location: On-site only, New Delhi Job Description: We are looking for Backend Developers to join our backend team. This is a hands-on role where you'll work on impactful projects that drive our core business, not just side tasks. Freshers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. AWS and serverless computing exposure is a strong plus but not mandatory, we'll mentor you on the cloud side if your fundamentals are solid. What You'll Do: • Work collaboratively with the backend team to develop backend solutions • Write, test, and deploy backend code using Java or Kotlin • Design and query MySQL databases for product features • Build and maintain RESTful APIs • Get hands-on with AWS Lambda, S3, and RDS (mentorship provided) • Troubleshoot and monitor services using AWS CloudWatch • Contribute to clean, secure, and cost-efficient code Must Have: • 0–1 year of experience (freshers welcome — internships, personal projects, and open-source contributions count) • Solid fundamentals in Java or Kotlin (any one) • Working knowledge of MySQL — comfortable with SELECT, JOIN, INSERT, UPDATE queries and basic indexing concepts • Understanding of REST APIs and how backend systems work • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn fast • B.E./B.Tech/MCA degree or equivalent (or graduating in 2026/2027) • Fast learner with strong execution skills Good to Have (Plus Points): • Exposure to AWS Lambda or any serverless platform • Familiarity with AWS S3, RDS, or CloudWatch • Understanding of event-driven or microservices architecture • Personal projects deployed on AWS/GCP/Azure • Active GitHub profile with backend projects
